Major Equipment

The chemistry program at AASU is well equipped with state of the art instrumentation to support student learning as well as faculty and undergraduate research.  All instrumentation is available for student use through coursework and undergraduate research opportunities.  Upper division chemistry students (CHEM 2101, 2102, 2300, 3200, 3300, 3401, 3402, 4100, 4200, 4300) are well trained in the theory, use and application of each instrumental technique for solving chemical problems.  Most of our instruments have been purchased through grants from the NSF and corporations as well as support from the University.
